A few years into my career, I started writing out some full band warm-up material using only the first five notes of the Bb major scale. All the available material at that point was for more experienced ensembles and I needed something to work on fundamental concepts with our 5th Grade Band. Literally just a couple weeks after handing out my first sheet, I got the promotional material for Warm-ups and Beyond. No joke…I literally ordered the books, through out what I started, and called Tim to thank him for saving me hours upon hours of work.
