Plenty of reading to fill the last few days of summer:

    • Now this is so great, the University of Pittsburgh’s summer read for incoming Freshman is a painting. Students are expected to come to campus prepared to discuss The Gross Clinic by Thomas Eakins. I really hope more schools start to do this, [Penn Reading Project 2009] via Daniel Pink
    • Two more works attributed to Mozart. Transcribed by his father before Mozart was able to write music himself! [CNN]
    • Michelle Obama Pushes for More Arts for Children [ArtsBlog]

Now get back to practicing!
